Ford CEO: Mustang GTD Supercar Set to Revolutionize the Automotive Industry

Ford CEO Jim Farley believes it's the "right time" to build the Mustang GTD supercar, which will have a price tag of around $300,000. The GTD is essentially a road version of Ford's Mustang GT3 racecar, featuring a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine producing around 800 horsepower. It will also have a rear transaxle and an 8-speed dual clutch transmission, as well as a unique rear suspension setup.
