ChatGPT integrates OpenAI plugins for real-time internet access and travel site integration.

OpenAI has introduced a new plugin feature for its artificial intelligence chatbot, ChatGPT, allowing it to access the internet and interact with third-party websites. The feature is in its alpha phase and will be available to a limited set of users initially. The plugins range from checking live sports scores to booking international flights and purchasing food for home delivery. ChatGPT uses the Bing API to search for information and a text-based web browser to navigate results. The plugin capabilities came on the back of high demand from users since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2021.
