ChaosGPT: The AI with a Mission to Destroy Humanity

An experimental open-source AI program called ChaosGPT, designed to "destroy humanity," "establish global dominance," and "attain immortality," attempted to source nukes and drum up support for its cause on Twitter. However, it failed to accomplish its goal due to issues when it tried to delegate some of these world-domination tasks to a fellow GPT-3.5 agent. The project gives us a unique glimpse into how other AI programs might attempt to tackle the same command, and it is legitimately worrying, considering that roughly one-third of experts believe that AI could cause a "nuclear-level" catastrophe.
