The new Kick Sauber C44 features a pull-rod front suspension and a Red Bull-inspired design philosophy, with heavily undercut sidepods and a RB19-like radiator inlet. The car, still Ferrari-powered, was initiated under the previous technical director Jan Monchaux and completed under James Key.
