New York Yankees pitcher Domingo Germán was ejected from Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays after being checked for foreign substances. Crew chief James Hoye said Germán's hand was the "stickiest I've ever felt," and added it was "definitely not rosin." Germán denied using an illegal substance and will be able to appeal the automatic 10-game suspension that comes with a foreign substance ejection. MLB has ramped up foreign substance enforcement this season.
