Women's Group Condemns Ambush of Former Kentucky Swimmer at San Francisco State

The Independent Women’s Forum (IWF) has condemned the physical assault on former University of Kentucky swimmer and IWF spokesperson, Riley Gaines, at San Francisco State University. Gaines was ambushed and physically hit twice by a man after delivering a speech on sex discrimination in women's sports. The incident occurred after the Supreme Court allowed a 12-year-old transgender girl in West Virginia to continue competing on her middle school’s girls sports teams while a lawsuit over a state ban continues. The IWF blamed the Biden administration and governing bodies of sport for pushing for biological males in women’s sport for the sake of inclusion.
