Lance Blanks, a former NBA player and executive, has died at the age of 56. Blanks played for the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves before working as a scout and front office executive for teams such as the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, and Los Angeles Clippers. He was remembered by former teammate and NBA executive Joe Dumars as a "light for all those who knew him."
