Munising Makes History with First State Basketball Title in Division 4

Munising won their first Division 4 Boys Basketball Final title by defeating reigning champion Wyoming Tri-unity Christian 39-37. Munising held a six-point lead, which turned into a one-point deficit in the fourth quarter, but they made the championship plays to secure the win. Cass Tech won their first championship in boys basketball with a 78-63 win over Muskegon in the Division 1 Final. Cass Tech led most of the way, but Muskegon took a 47-46 lead with 1:46 left in the third quarter. Cass Tech responded beautifully and dominated along the interior to secure the win.
