Miles Bridges renews contract with Charlotte Hornets for upcoming season

Miles Bridges, the Flint native and former Michigan State star, has signed a one-year free agent contract to return to the Charlotte Hornets. The deal is worth $7.6 million and allows Bridges to become an unrestricted free agent in 2024. After sitting out the previous season due to domestic violence charges, Bridges will serve a 10-game suspension at the start of the 2023-24 season. He had a breakout season in 2021-22, averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
