"Mavericks Make Move for P.J. Washington"

The Dallas Mavericks have acquired P.J. Washington from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Grant Williams, Seth Curry, and a first-round pick. Washington, a 25-year-old forward, provides the Mavericks with a reliable frontcourt scorer on a manageable long-term contract. In return, the Hornets will receive two second-round picks from Dallas.
