Eagles Make Roster Moves, Open Practice Window for Justin Evans

The Philadelphia Eagles have opened the practice window for safety Justin Evans, who has missed four games due to injuries. Evans, a starter in the first few games of the season, suffered a neck injury and a knee injury. By opening his practice window, the Eagles can keep him on injured reserve but allow him to practice. They have 21 days to decide whether to activate him or shut him down for the year. In the meantime, the Eagles have signed tight end Noah Togiai and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith to the practice squad, while releasing practice squad tight end E.J. Jenkins.
