Blue Jackets land Ivan Provorov in 3-team trade.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired defenseman Ivan Provorov from the Philadelphia Flyers in a three-way deal that also involved the Los Angeles Kings. The Flyers received defenseman Sean Walker, goaltender Cal Petersen, AHL defenseman Helge Grans, and a 2024 second-round pick in exchange for Provorov and minor league winger Hayden Hodgson. The Kings retained 30% of Provorov's salary and traded him to the Blue Jackets. Columbus also sent the Kings' first-round pick this season and a conditional second-round pick to Philadelphia in exchange for defenseman Kevin Connauton, who was then sent to the Kings to complete the trade.
