Bailey's home run leads Giants to victory over Marlins.

The San Francisco Giants defeated the Miami Marlins 7-5 in a game that saw several firsts for the Giants, including Patrick Bailey's first home run and first error, Ryan Walker's first Major League appearance, and J.D. Davis' first home run against a left-handed pitcher this season. Alex Wood got called for his first balk as a Giant, and the game also featured the first pickle of the season. The Giants adjusted to Jesús Luzardo's slider and knocked him out of the game in the 6th inning. Casey Schmitt added insurance in the 8th, and the Giants secured the win.
