Aurora Suburb Extends Invitation to Chicago Bears for New Stadium

In a two-page letter, the mayor highlights Aurora's history, location, and ongoing development projects. The invitation comes after the Bears expressed interest in exploring other locations, following their plans for the former Arlington Race Track property being "at risk." The Bears organization has responded positively to the invitation, and Aurora joins other suburbs vying for the opportunity. This isn't the first time Aurora has pursued the Bears, as a similar proposal was made in 1995 but did not come to fruition.
