NFL Legend Steve McMichael Hospitalized for MRSA Infection

Former Chicago Bears star Steve McMichael has been diagnosed with MRSA, a staph infection that can be resistant to certain antibiotics, while in a New Lenox hospital. His family is asking for prayers for the 66-year-old former defensive lineman, who recently underwent a blood transfusion and was diagnosed with ALS in January 2021. McMichael's health complications come just a week after being formally introduced as a member of the 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame class.
