Kirk Herbstreit's son Zak recovering from heart issue

Kirk Herbstreit revealed that his son Zak, a tight end for Ohio State, has been hospitalized due to heart issues. Though he is now at home, the family is going on short walks as part of his recovery process. The condition was discovered through an echocardiogram, and while it will be a three to four month process to see how his heart responds to medication, Zak is in good spirits. Kirk Herbstreit encouraged athletes to undergo an echocardiogram in addition to their normal physicals.
