Fatal Motorcycle and Athlete Collision at Ironman Triathlon in Germany.

A motorbike carrying a rider and a passenger collided with a triathlete during an Ironman triathlon European championship race in Hamburg, Germany, resulting in the death of the 70-year-old motorbike rider and severe injuries to the 26-year-old triathlete. A camera operator was also treated in hospital for shock. The race continued but German public broadcaster ARD ended its live stream as a gesture of respect. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
