Knight Signs with Ole Miss, Eyes 2026 QB Role

Former Auburn quarterback Deuce Knight signed with Ole Miss on Sunday, potentially becoming the Rebels’ starter in 2026 if Trinidad Chambliss doesn’t win a sixth season of eligibility. Knight, a 6-foot-4, 217-pound dual-threat from Lucedale, Mississippi, was a top-2 quarterback recruit in the Class of 2025, played for Auburn this past season (including a Mercer start) and entered the transfer portal after Auburn’s coaching change, joining a No. 6 Rebels team that could rely on him if Chambliss’ waiver is denied.
