Handler catches 7ft 6in alligator lurking in garage.

A 7ft 6in alligator was found lurking in a homeowner's garage in South Carolina, prompting him to call in the "Gator Girls" to safely remove the reptile. A specialist handler used a catchpole to drag the alligator out of the garage, but it thrashed wildly before being loaded into a vehicle and moved to a natural pond outside the neighbourhood. Alligator attacks on humans are rare, with a probability of one in 3,100,000, but there have been 376 injuries and 15 fatalities reported in the US between 1948 and 2004.
