"Montana River Otter Attack Leaves Woman Hospitalized and Others Injured"

Three women were attacked by otters while floating on inner tubes in the Jefferson River. One woman sustained severe bites to her face and arms and was flown to a nearby hospital, while the other two women also sustained bites. The incident occurred in Jefferson County between the talc mine and LaHood restaurant. Otter attacks have been reported in the area in the past.
