Florida Firefighter Rescues Peafowl from 40-Pound Boa Constrictor in Dramatic Video

A 40-pound boa constrictor, identified as a red tail boa constrictor, was captured in Florida after firefighters received a distress call about the snake threatening a group of peafowl. The invasive snake was skillfully captured by a member of the Venom One Response team and will be handed over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The red tail boa constrictor, native to Central and South America, has been breeding in Florida for at least 10 years and poses a threat to local wildlife.
