Storms Expected in Southern Michigan, Calmer Memorial Day in Metro Detroit

Severe thunderstorms are possible in far southern Michigan this afternoon and evening, with a low tornado risk and a higher chance of severe wind gusts. Memorial Day rain in northern Michigan is expected to be more sporadic, with more dry hours than wet for most of Lower Michigan.
