Record-breaking rainfall hits Denver and Colorado.

Denver broke a daily rainfall record on Thursday with 2.07 inches of rain measured at Denver International Airport, and more rain is expected through the night and into late Friday morning. Flood watches are in effect across the Front Range and plains, and winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories are also in effect as the high country sees snow. Denver’s Office of Emergency Management warned people to stay out of high water and away from storm drains and canals.
