Record-breaking heat wave hits Central Florida with heat index over 110 degrees.

Central Florida is experiencing a heat wave with temperatures hovering around record highs. Yesterday, Orlando reached 95°F and today is expected to reach 96°F, with a chance of isolated showers. Tomorrow will bring a higher chance of scattered rain, but temperatures will remain high. Thursday and Friday are expected to be the hottest days so far this year, with highs of 97°F. Scattered showers and storms are expected over the weekend. The remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy may re-gain strength, but are not expected to impact Central Florida.
