Rare May Snowstorm Hits Great Lakes Region.

A record-setting May snowstorm is expected to bring historic snow totals to parts of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, with up to 3 feet of snow in isolated locations. The storm could rival a legendary May snowstorm that impacted the region more than 30 years ago. High winds and flooding will also be major concerns, with extensive tree damage and widespread power outages possible. The anomalously cold, winter-like air mass will also bring bursts of light snow to other regions.
