I-55 is closed in two places in southern Illinois due to blackout conditions caused by high winds blowing dirt from nearby farm fields across the road, resulting in dozens of crashes. The highway is shut down between Litchfield and Divernon, and drivers are urged to take an alternative route. HAZMAT trained first-responders are responding to a wreck with over 20 vehicles involved.
