"Multiday Severe Storm Threat: Tornadoes, Hail, and Damaging Winds"

Severe storms are targeting the Midwest and South with a multiday threat of tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail. More than 16 million people are at risk for severe weather, with areas of concern in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The threat of severe weather is expected to continue into Friday, with heavy rain forecasted for the South, particularly in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
