Kentucky Governor Declares State of Emergency as Severe Winter Weather Hits

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has declared a state of emergency due to severe winter weather, with temperatures expected to drop to single digits and wind chills below zero. The declaration allows for activation of state resources and the state's Emergency Operations Center is preparing to activate to Level 4.
