A man got stuck in the Pacoima Wash in Los Angeles while trying to save his dog, who managed to swim to safety. The Los Angeles Fire Department conducted a dramatic rescue, lowering a rescuer into the water to grab the man, who was conscious and alert with no serious injuries. He was airlifted to a local hospital, while his dog was taken to a shelter for minor injuries and will be reunited with him soon.
