Central and South Florida to Experience Increased Rain Chances and Cooler Temps

Central Florida is expected to receive much-needed rain with a 60-70% chance of scattered showers throughout the day, along with gusty winds and a wind advisory in effect for coastal counties until 10pm. Beaches are at risk of dangerous surf zone conditions and coastal flooding, especially those previously compromised by hurricanes. Rain chances will ease mid-week but increase again by late week due to low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico. Strong storms are not expected.
