Alabama Braces for Multiple Rounds of Severe Storms Today.

Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across Alabama today, with a "moderate risk" of severe storms in parts of Central and South Alabama. Heavier storms could produce large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes. A flash flood watch is also in effect for much of Alabama south of I-20. Scattered showers and storms are likely statewide tomorrow, but the severe weather risk will be limited to the southern quarter of the state. The weekend will have intervals of sun with highs in the 80s, but there is a risk of severe storms over Northwest Alabama on Sunday.
