"Air Quality Alert Expands West as Cooler Conditions Persist"

A cold front will bring much cooler temperatures and windy conditions to Minnesota on Wednesday, with highs mostly in the 60s and gusts up to 30 mph. Lingering clouds will be present in the east, while the west will see more sunshine. There may be a few lingering showers in northeast Minnesota. Air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive groups at times in western Minnesota, prompting an air quality alert that has been expanded west until 5 p.m. Wednesday. Temperatures will remain below normal on Thursday, but will gradually warm up by the weekend.
