Severe thunderstorms with large hail, hurricane-force wind gusts, and tornadoes threaten 64 million people in the Midwest and Plains on Sunday, with the greatest risk in parts of eastern Nebraska, northern Missouri, most of Iowa, and extreme western Illinois. The severe weather threat will continue through at least the first part of the workweek, with damaging wind gusts and large hail possible in the southern Plains on Sunday and severe thunderstorms possible in the Ozarks on Monday and in parts of the Plains on Tuesday.
