Field-trip bus crash in Tennessee leaves 2 students dead, at least 7 injured

A field-trip bus carrying Kenwood Middle School students and staff in Carroll County, Tennessee, collided with a Tennessee Department of Transportation dump truck and a Chevrolet Trailblazer on Highway 70. Two students were killed and at least seven others were injured; 25 students and 5 adults were on the bus. Some victims were transported by air ambulance to area hospitals and others were treated and released as investigators determine the cause; counselors will assist families and the school community.
