Bear found in school dumpster by principal in West Virginia

A black bear surprised a West Virginia elementary school principal when it emerged from a dumpster outside the school, growling and roaring. The encounter was captured on surveillance video and has since been widely shared on social media. The principal quickly darted away as the bear jumped out and ran off. The school had installed a lock on the dumpster after noticing some torn up garbage bags outside, but the bear was still able to get inside. The West Virginia Department of Natural Resources has since made modifications to the lock.
