Passenger lost at sea after falling overboard from Carnival Magic cruise ship.

A 35-year-old male passenger on Carnival Magic ship went overboard 186 miles east of Jacksonville, Florida. The US Coast Guard is currently searching for him. The ship was released from search and rescue efforts and advised to continue on to Norfolk, Virginia. This incident follows other overboard reports in recent months. Cruise ships have safeguards in place to keep passengers from going overboard and are required by the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety Act of 2010 to have rails that are "located not less than 42 inches above the cabin deck."
