Tragic Fall: College Student's Fatal Climb in Central Oregon

A 21-year-old college student, Joel Tranby, tragically fell to his death while climbing North Sister in Oregon's Cascade Mountains. Known for its difficult terrain, Tranby fell about 300 to 500 feet and was severely injured. Despite rescue efforts, he stopped responding before searchers arrived.
