Tragic Discovery: Mother and Son Found Dead in California Waters.

A seven-year-old boy's body was found in Monterey County days after his mother died. The mother and son were visiting the beach when the boy was found alone and told a passerby that his mother was missing. Witnesses later saw the mother floating in the water and she was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The search for the missing son was suspended due to darkness and resumed at sunrise. The boy's body was recovered by divers 10 feet deep near Moss Landing's boat launch. The cause of their deaths is still under investigation.
