Tragic Car Accident Claims Lives of 3 University of Wyoming Swimmers

Three members of the University of Wyoming swimming and diving team were killed in a car crash on a Colorado highway, with two others injured. The victims, an 18-year-old woman and two men aged 21 and 22, were not traveling for a university function. The crash occurred when an SUV veered from the southbound lanes onto the northbound lanes and rolled down an embankment near the Wyoming-Colorado state line. University officials expressed their devastation and offered counseling services to the student-athletes and coaches.
