Heroic Woman Dies Saving Fellow Climber from Falling Ice in Utah

A woman died while climbing Raven Falls in Utah after pushing another climber to safety when an ice column split and fell. The woman, described as a 41-year-old, was found dead the next day. A man was hospitalized, and the third climber was unharmed and able to call for help. The push "probably saved her life," the office said of the 21-year-old climber. The Mountain Project describes Raven Falls as a well-regarded frozen waterfall 110 feet high.
