Fatal Catamaran Sinking Claims Lives in Bahamas

A 74-year-old woman from Colorado died when a catamaran sank off the coast of the Bahamas while heading to an island. The boat had over 100 people on board, but she was the only fatality. The cause of her death is still unknown. The catamaran began taking on water after departing Paradise Island, and passengers were seen jumping into the water and swimming towards nearby boats. The woman was on a five-day vacation.
