Multiple Trooper Vehicles Struck in Separate Incidents During Crash Investigation

Two Colorado State Patrol vehicles were hit by two separate drivers suspected to be impaired while investigating a crash on Interstate 270 in Adams County. One trooper was seriously injured after being forced over a bridge barrier and falling approximately 30 feet down an embankment. The trooper was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. CSP will investigate the crash.
