Countdown to the End: Daylight Saving Time 2023

Daylight saving time will end on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 2 a.m. Although Oregon, Washington, and California have agreed to abolish seasonal time changes, the change is currently stuck at the federal level. The Sunshine Protection Act, which aimed to make the change a reality, passed in the U.S. Senate in 2022 but did not progress in the House of Representatives. Until there is progress at the federal level, daylight saving time will continue to be observed in March and November.
