Hospital worker in viral Citi Bike video faces livelihood and reputation crisis

Sarah Comrie, a Bellevue Hospital employee, has been identified as the woman in a viral video accused of hijacking a Citi Bike from a young black man. Her lawyer provided receipts proving she paid for the bike, and a GoFundMe has been set up by her uncle to pay for her legal bills and save her livelihood and reputation. Comrie, who is six-months pregnant, was placed on leave from her job as a physician assistant by NYC Health + Hospitals this week. The incident has caused her to be branded a "Karen" on social media. The fundraiser has raised nearly $8,543 as of Thursday night.
