Free Summer Meals for Students in Sacramento and NC

The Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is expecting record demand for food this summer due to ongoing issues from the pandemic and increasing inflation. To help families during this summer season, the Sacramento Food Bank is putting together non-perishable summer grocery boxes and fresh produce to be given to students and families. There are more than 160 distribution points across the county. Starting June 13, students under 18 years old can also receive free lunch at 13 Sacramento Public Library locations, thanks to funding from the USDA and state.
