Arizona City Hall Pride Flag Burned, FBI Investigates Bomb Threat at Local Coffee Shop

A Pride flag was burned outside a City Hall building in Tempe, Arizona, where it had been raised to commemorate LGBTQ Pride Month. The act of vandalism is under investigation by police. This comes months after a bomb threat was made to an LGBTQ-owned coffee shop in Tempe. The threats and acts of violence toward the queer community in Tempe come amid a surge in similar anti-LGBTQ demonstrations across the country. Officials in Tempe said a new Pride flag had been raised at City Hall.
