Top US Cities Ranked for Best Places to Live

Huntsville, Alabama has been ranked as the second-best place to live in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings. The city had previously held the top spot in 2022 and ranked third in 2021. The rankings consider four categories: Quality of Life, Value Index, Job Market Index, and Desirability Index. Huntsville's metro area includes Madison and Athens. Green Bay, Wisconsin, took the top spot this year, followed by Huntsville and Raleigh & Durham, North Carolina.
