Former President Donald Trump did not attend church on Easter Sunday, but instead promoted his Trump-branded Bibles on Truth Social. He has a history of selling his name and image for various branded products and has recently been using religion to push his message to the conservative right. Despite seemingly only going to church on at least a semi-regular basis while he was president, Trump is once again using religion to push his message to the conservative right. He has also come to endorse and embrace Christian Nationalism, and has been criticized for his actions and statements regarding religion.
