Eli Bartov, an accounting professor, revealed that he made approximately $877,500 for his expert testimony, while Frederick Chin, who testified on real estate valuation, billed $850 per hour for a total of $850,000. The state's only expert witness, Michael McCarty, estimated making about $350,000. These rates shed light on the high costs of Trump's legal battles, with his Save America PAC spending $40 million in the first half of this year alone. The trial continues with Trump scheduled to testify again on Monday.
