Trump Legal Team in Disarray: Lawyer Quits Over Infighting and Interference Allegations

Timothy Parlatore, a lawyer who recently resigned from Donald Trump's legal team, cited disagreements with top Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn as the reason for his departure. Parlatore accused Epshteyn of hindering the legal team's efforts to defend Trump in a Justice Department special counsel investigation. He claimed that Epshteyn had served as a "filter" in preventing the legal team from getting information about the investigation to or from Trump and had impeded a defense strategy aimed at helping "educate (Attorney General) Merrick Garland as to how best to handle this matter."
